Abstract:: The purpose of teaching in higher education institutions is to develop students ability to learn, practice and career development. The teaching content needs scientific selection and high concentration, and the teaching process needs reasonable arrangement and careful design. Combining the authors experience in UNMC and ten years of teaching experience, through the observation and harvest of the academic visit, the student - centered teaching design and the application of the Medicinal Botany teaching process, This paper explores the core connotation of the student – centered teaching design, and initially constructs the student - centered teaching framework of the Medicinal Botany curriculum
