The purpose of teaching in higher education institutions is to develop students ability to learn, practice and career development. The teaching content needs scientific selection and high concentration, and the teaching process needs reasonable arrangement and careful design. Combining the authors experience in UNMC and ten years of teaching experience, through the observation and harvest of the academic visit, the student - centered teaching design and the application of the Medicinal Botany teaching process, This paper explores the core connotation of the student – centered teaching design, and initially constructs the student - centered teaching framework of the Medicinal Botany curriculum
