- Objective To explore the difference analysis of primary insomnia treated by adjusting the patients wakefulness with acupuncture and Estazolam. Method 126 cases of primary insomnia are randomly divided into control and treatment groups. Among them, patients in the former take Estazolam 1 time everyday for a period of 4 weeks. By contrast, the latter are given the acupuncture 1 time everyday, 5 times for one week for a period of 4 weeks. The PSQI before and after treatment are recorded, while the patients average sleep length in the multiple sleep latency tests in two groups are observed, Polysomnography monitor is used to supervise the relevant indexes of sleep structure in two groups. Result the PSQI and MSL of the control and treatment groups after treatment are significantly lower than before treatment ( P <0. 05) . In addition, the PSQI and MSL and the improvement rate in the treatment group are significantly higher thanthe control group( P <0. 05) . the PSG indexes at night are of no significant difference in the two groups before the treatment( P >0. 05) . The SE? TST? WASO? NWAK? SOL after treatment in the two groups are significantly superior to the indexes before the treatment. The REM? N3? N2? N1 in the control group before and after treatment are of no significant difference( P >0. 05) . The REM? N3? N2? N1 after treatment in the treatment group are superior to the indexes before the treatment( P <0. 05) . The REM? N3? N2? N1? TST? WASO? NWAK? SOL after treatment in the treatment group are superior to the indexes in the control group( P <0. 05) . Conclusion The application of acupuncture treatment can more effectively improve the patients sleep quality than the administration of Estazolam, and adjust the patients excessive wakefulness, thereby it is suggested that the acupuncture treatment be widely used in the clinical practice.
