- Chronic Gastritis is a clinically common and recurrent disease. Under the guidance of the Qi Circulation Theory, Professor Wen Xinli there is the Baizhu Houpo ( Rhizoma Atractylodes and Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis) Decoction which is based on the properties of qi circulation during the Liu Ji year( which means the soil element is not enoughto accomplish in this year) . It is used for the patients with CG who are obviously characterized by the spleen deficiency and liver depression. It can correct a deviation of qi circulation by complying the medicine with qi circulation in human body to treat the disease. It has been justified that the discomfort of patients with CG has been significantly improved since this treatment is based on the classical syndrome differentiation which combines with the Wuyun Liuqi( five elements and six pathogens) theory , providing a new method for the treatment of CG by means of TCM and more closely conforming to the TCM theory of “the correspondence between man and nature” .
