- Objective To investigate the effect of acupoint pressing on prevention and treatment of constipation in patients after PCI based on the theory of left ascending and right descending).Methods 60 patients with constipation after PCI admitted to our hospital from July 2018 to July 2019 were selected as the study objects.Patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group with 30 patients in each group.Constipation scores，first defecation time and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results The scores of constipation and the time of first defecation in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group，and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05)；In terms of quality of life，the scores of physical discomfort，psychosocial maladjustment，anxiety and satisfaction in the treatment group were better than those in the control group，with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion Massage on the left ascending and right descending points can effectively prevent and treat constipation symptoms of patients after PCI，shorten the time of first defecation after PCI，and improve the quality of life of patients，which is worthy of clinical promotion.
